The annual rate of growth of marketable instruments declined to 8.9% in May, from 12.7% in April. This development was due, in particular, to the reversal of the exceptionally strong short-term dynamics in debt securities with a maturity of up to two years in the previous month. For these instruments the annual rate of change declined to -10.9% in May, from 11.1% in April.
